What's Included

What you get in this appointment

  • Your labs are read before the call starts

You send your results in advance and Nurse Doza goes through them beforehand. The appointment is spent talking with you, not opening a PDF for the first time.

  • A plain-language walk-through of your numbers

Marker by marker, in ordinary words: what it measures, what the reference range means, and where your result falls. No jargon left unexplained.

  • Specific next steps you can actually act on

You leave with a short, concrete list — questions worth asking, markers worth re-checking, and habits that support the areas your labs point to.

  • Telehealth by phone or video, anywhere in the US

No drive, no waiting room. Join from home on whichever is easier for you — phone call or video — from any state.

Labs & Panels

Panels Nurse Doza reviews

  • Full Thyroid Panel

TSH, T3, T4, TPO and reverse T3 — thyroid function markers.

  • Inflammation markers

Such as hs-CRP — general markers of inflammatory activity.

  • Sex hormones

    Estrogen, progesterone and testosterone levels.

  • Cortisol (4-point)

Cortisol measured across the day to show its daily curve.

  • DUTCH test

Dried urine panel covering hormones and their metabolites.

  • GI-MAP

Stool panel mapping gut microbes and digestive markers.

  • DHEA-S and adrenals

    Adrenal-related markers, including DHEA-sulfate.

  • Fertility panel

FSH, LH and progesterone — reproductive hormone markers.

Not an exhaustive list — Nurse Doza reads every lab you send, from standard panels to specialty functional testing.

My visit with Nurse Doza was the best experience I've ever had with a dr. He takes time to listen and explain things and works out a plan to fit your needs. He's very knowledgeable and I highly recommend him!

I've visited the clinic a few times for NAD+ and love my experiences with the team. If you're looking to improve your health in a natural/holistic way, this is your place in Austin. Next steps for me is blood work and balancing hormones.

Jonathan absolutely knows his stuff! Have a consult, listen to what he knows, recommends and you'll understand.

Is This For You

This appointment is a good fit if…

  • Your results came back "normal" but you don't feel normal

You were told everything looks fine and still have questions. This appointment is time to go through the numbers with someone and understand what they do and don't show.

  • You ordered labs yourself and need someone to read them

Direct-to-consumer panels hand you a PDF and no context. Bring it and get a guided walk-through of what you paid for.

  • You have symptoms and want to know what the numbers show

We look at how your results line up with what you've been experiencing, and which markers are worth watching over time.

  • You want to understand your labs before committing to anything bigger

A short, low-cost first step. Understand your own data before deciding whether you want to go further.

  • DC · Chiropractor
  • RN · Registered Nurse
  • FNP-C · Family Nurse Practitioner

Jonathan Mendoza is a chiropractor, registered nurse, and board-certified family nurse practitioner. That combination shapes how he reads lab work: nervous system, nutrition, and clinical medicine looked at together rather than one panel at a time.

He sees patients at the clinic in West Lake Hills, Texas, and reaches a much larger audience through The School of Doza podcast and his teaching on social media — translating lab results and physiology into language people can actually use.

Questions

Frequently asked

What labs do you accept?

Standard blood work from any lab — Quest, Labcorp, a hospital system, or your primary care office — plus specialty functional panels like DUTCH, GI-MAP, and other at-home kits. If you have the results, send them and Nurse Doza will review them.

How do I send my results?

After you book, you'll get instructions for uploading a PDF or clear photos of every page of your results. Send them at least 24 hours before your appointment so there's time to review them ahead of the call.

Is this really telehealth? Do I need to come in?

No visit required. The lab review is a telehealth appointment by phone or video, and it's available in every state. If you'd rather be seen in person, the clinic is in West Lake Hills, TX and you can book a consult instead.

What happens after the review?

You'll have a clear picture of your results and a short list of next steps discussed on the call. There's no obligation to book anything else. If you want to keep going, options include a consult at the clinic or ordering follow-up labs.

Do you take insurance?

No. We're a cash-pay clinic, which is what lets us give you a real appointment instead of the seven minutes an insurance panel pays for. Payment is due at the time of your visit. We take credit and debit cards, HSA and FSA cards, and cash.

Your labs have answers.

15 minutes. $99. A practitioner who reads the whole picture.
